More Christmas Fun

Zoo Lights with Spencer's brother, T, and his kids, J and K. K is acting like a gorilla and J is the little pair of eyes that wasn't too thrilled to be there. We had fun though...but I would say that about anything with Christmas lights. We stayed at the zoo as long as we could stand the cold...which wasn't long cause it was freezing.

After, we decorated gingerbread houses at our place.

Congratulations Michelle and Jillian!

Spencer and I have gotten hooked! We watched faithfully every Tuesday.
We wanted to see Vicki suffer and get a taste of her own medicine.
We wanted the blue team to go down.
We wanted Jillian and the black team to prevail.
And they did.
Way to go Michelle. She lost 110 lbs! I would like to offer her my personal congratulations.
I am not a huge reality show fan because I think most of them are pointless. This is one reality show I am on board with. Not only does it have a meaningful purpose, but it makes people feel better about themselves and inspires an attitude of self-improvement. I can't wait for season 7 in January!

It's Christmas Time in the City...

There is so much to do at Christmas time!
Spencer is a caroler at This Is the Place Park and sings every Friday, Saturday, and Monday night. I've been up to see him a couple of times and he's great, as usual. We took Spencer's nieces and nephews up there last night. It was a blast. There were crafts and fun things to do in all of the buildings. We saw Santa and some real reindeer!We also went out to the Festival of Trees. This was one of our favorite trees. Go Utes!
I really liked this Candy Land gingerbread village. It inspired me. Who wants to decorate gingerbread houses?
We were also able to attend the MoTab Christmas concert. Sorry, no pictures...they're all on my mom's camera. The guest performer, Brian Stokes Mitchell, was amazing.
We wandered around Temple Square and saw the lights too. Is there anything better than Christmas lights?
