Our first tomato was picked yesterday. She's a beauty.

Pioneer Day 09

It started with the Desert News 10K at 6am! I was talked into running the race a few days before and I'm glad I did it! It wasn't nearly as terrible as I thought it would be and actually was kinda fun. Thanks for staying with me Lady and keeping me going! Spence took off from us slow-pokes at the beginning and was waiting for us at the finish line. Good times.

We went to dinner with the Slades at Cafe Rio...always delicious. Then we came home and did fireworks with the MCB and spouseman, Lady, and Ty.

Berti Bott's Every Flavor Beans proved to be an entertaining snack. Disgusting. Congrats to you brave souls that ate the rotten egg and vomit flavored beans. I only judge you a little bit.

Hmmm

I have a box of Corn Flakes in my cereal cupboard.

It's over a year old.

It only sees the light of day when I make funeral potatoes.

I think today might be one of those special days.
