We did lots of fun things in preparation for Christmas this year!
I decided I wanted to make an "Countdown to Christmas" nativity this year. I used hot glue and felt and it worked like a charm! I never got a picture of the final product and now it's packed away in Christmas storage so...maybe next year! But here's Liv and I getting ready to start the project.
We rode the train, visited the elf village, made an icicle ornament, learned about the tradition of stockings, and put our names on Santa's 'Nice' list.
We also saw Father Christmas! Livy wasn't so sure about the whole thing, so she sat on my lap while I sat on Santa's lap.
We also went downtown and saw the lights at Temple Square. Always a fun night! We rode
Trax downtown and had a nice evening walking around and enjoying the decorations.

My cousin Shannon was in SLAC's children's play "How I Became a Pirate." We went and saw the show with my cousins and aunts. It was adorable and Shanny did a wonderful job! Livy was thrilled to have her picture taken with the kids after the show.
